The Drowning Girl: A Memoir has been nominated for the 2012 Shirley Jackson awards . This makes three nominations for the novel and one win. I do, of course, consider a nomination for a Jackson award one of the highest honors for fantasy/dark psychological novels, and this is my fourth nomination for the award. Little victories.
