Yesterday, I wrote 1,594 words on Chapter Two of Fay Grimmer. That's 108 words in the word bank.
As is now likely common knowledge, Two Worlds and In Between: The Best of Me (Volume 1) has been nominated for a World Fantasy Award in the category of "Collection." That was, I think, the one genuinely good thing about yesterday.

Nakanishi of UCLA, who maintains the Children of the Atomic Bomb website, cites UCLA physician Dr. James Yamakaze, as stating that "It is not unlikely that the estimates of killed and wounded in Hiroshima (150,000) and Nagasaki (75,000) are over conservative."
