Addendum: Just some cool stuff...

Spooky and I were the last people out of the screening of Cloverfield yesterday, because we always sit through the credits, and so we caught the burst of static and a couple of whispered words as the film's soundtrack fades. I knew it had to have been significant, but I didn't make out the words. Well, someone else heard it, too, and you can hear it here. This, of course, makes the film's ending even grimmer.

Also, I have to admit that Fox's new series, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, has my interest peaked, if only because Firefly's Summer Glau will be appearing as a terminator sent to guard John Connor. Yeah, okay, I admit it it. I'm a huge fan of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, though it's hard to see anyone other than Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor. I will try to catch the next episode, and hope the first two will be repeated. The reviews seem to be largely positive, but I see so many way this could fall flat. I might even download Move Media Player and watch them on the iMac.
