Lovecraft's "The Whisperer in Darkness" (1930), in three parts. It was submitted to the Convergence 13 film festival by
jaborwhalky, but, alas, did not make the cut. It's a little stiff, but not bad for two weeks work. I have got to get off my ass and get a gorramn video camera...
Part One
Part Two
Part Three
Enjoy. iMovie rules.
Since everything I try to get done today seems bound and determined to go to shit (probably this Mordorian air), I thought I'd share this, a silent-film style adaptation of Part One
Part Two
Part Three
Enjoy. iMovie rules.

And I too need a video camera. If you look carefully, there is probably a film collective in Atlanta where you can rent/borrow film equipment if you become a member.

Hmmm. I thought about trying to form a group.
(2:39min) 17k wmv trailer for a new black and white film done in 20's style titled "Call of Cthulhu" back in Nov 2006 from a Lovecraft site. I forgot who posted the url and i can't find the link now. (i have over 1000 bookmarks, i think ;)
Still have the video though. Thanks, will watch these ones later :)
I added an ext to FireFox which allows you to download any flv video like those at YouTube. It's called Download Helper and even come with a click to go dropdown list of dozens of sites with flv videos.
There are urls listed in any Google inquiry for _flv to mpg_ conversion to websites that will let you download any YouTube video but the firefox ext is just one click to use from the toolbar and you don't even have to play the whole video to download it. I have a free stand alone FLV player to run them
offline.
