Fashion Nerd

Okay. I just almost cried over Nick getting booted on Project Runway tonight. Really, I'm that ridiculous. I cheered for Santino (of course), and immediately apologized and got all teary. Someone needs to buy me a clue. Chloe deserved the win, but I know Nick's way more talented than Kara, whom I feel has mostly coasted along on luck and mediocrity. *sigh* Pity me.

Well, dang. I'm only halfway through watching it now. Lesson learned: no more checking Lj until I've seen who is IN and who is OUT.

I still would murder something cute for Jay's entire finale collection.

Seconded. Obviously Nick will be missed big time; this is the first time I've seen any unmarked PR spoilers on my friends list. Poor Nick. :(

Who are you?

santino rules!!
In truth Kara Janx should've gotten the axe. I mean Santino basically designed two outfits tonight. His and Kara's (which was a bit unfortunate). Santino rules.
I'm hoping the final three are Chloe, Daniel (*who irritates me) and Santino.

I know what you mean
I was utterly heartbroken that Nick was out. He looked heartbroken too, and confused why he was the one leaving. Santino is dramatic but what he made for Kara was wretched. I don't think she'll last long either.

I can't be the only one who thought Daniel looked adorably dandy-ish and rather like Adrien Brody in what Nick designed him.

So glad someone else had such a visceral reaction to tonight's show.

Awww... I didn't watch Project Runway tonight (I watch the re-runs. With it competing with both Veronica Mars AND Lost, I can't watch it Wednesdays) but Nick is my favorite! I wanted him to win. :( Aw, I'm terribly sad now. He needed to at least be in the top three.

I haven't seen it yet, but I really like Nick. That's kinda sad :(

Weird. That little judgement scene was on my television about a second before I read this post. The episode's still on as I write, and I'd never seen anything of that show before. I was flipping through channels, and stopped at the tense music and the pretty asian girl. Then I thought, "Oh, there's that Santino guy Caitlin and Spooky've been talking about." Strange.

This was the first night I ever watched it. It was really interesting. I may have to play catchup really soon. :)

Off-Topic (somewhat)
Forgive me, but I thought of you and MTV together when I saw this.

Oh, absolutely!

I'm still depressed about Sly Stone.

*nods in agreement* I also think Nick has had a better overall attitude than most on the show, so I was sad to go. I did think the suit was a bit lacking, but he's had a good track record!

Kara needs to go away. Course I thought that since week one. She's as talented as I am published!

Do you listen to the morning-after podcasts.

Gunn credits Santino's survival to "magical angels", which some say is a code word for "the show's producers."

Bravo ran a marathon yesterday on the show. Caught me up, I think. It looks like the station will do another catchup series too.
