Narcissa

Worserer

The rain from Christobal hit us in earnest about 5 p.m., but I think it's quiet now. I went out for a few minutes midday, had a cigarette, and the sun came out for a few minutes. That was the best part of the day, the sun through the clouds. Our high today was 93˚F with heat index. It's now 77˚F.

I tried to start a new piece today, for Sirenia Digest #172, but I didn't get very far. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to start over tomorrow.

I spent most of the day sitting here listening to music. Lana Del Rey, Loma, Neko Case, but mostly Phoebe Bridgers, whom I have pronounced my new Dancy (thank you, Lord Huron).

I slept for an hour after all the music and woke to the rain.

We're watching the UK incarnation of Drag Race and...it's different. UK queens really don't lip sync.

It wasn't a good day.

Later Taters,
