"I was grinding my teeth. I was wasting my youth. And using up my teeth."

Rain. Like I said. Rain all night. Rain much of the day. There was some watery sunshine at one point. rain tonight. Rain tomorrow. Flash flood watch again tomorrow night. Rain. Rain in the House of Muddy Grey Walls. Currently, it's 51˚F.

I have pretty much nothing to report about today. Oh, I did finish Jack London's The Sea-Wolf. I kinda like what Ambrose Bierce had to say about the novel way back in February 1905: "The great thing — and it is among the greatest of things — is that tremendous creation, Wolf Larsen... the hewing out and setting up of such a figure is enough for a man to do in one lifetime...The love element, with its absurd suppressions, and impossible proprieties, is awful." Yes.

We're trying to bring in a little money from eBay while I wait on an overdue check. So, first up, a copy of Das ertrinkende Mädchen, the SOLD OUT ON PUBLICATION German-language edition of The Drowning Girl: A Memoir. Plus! A copy of the ALSO SOLD OUT Subterranean Press edition of Houses Under the Sea: Mythos Tales. Please have a look, and thanks.
