" bed on a warm straw coating"

The National Weather Service promised a clear-ish sky today, but I woke to an overcast sky. Currently, it's 53˚F, with the windchill at 50˚F.

Yesterday, I wrote 1,114 words on "King Laugh." Today, I need to try and find THE END. It's a short piece, but it's the length it needs to be. Also, the electronic galleys arrived for the Tor edition of Black Helicopters yesterday, and I need to have my notes back to New York by December 8th.

Yesterday, Spooky went out an got donuts from Allie's down in North Kingstown, and, after leftover chili (again), we downloaded the first chapter of Season Four of GW's "Living Story." In which doom comes to Amnoon and we sail to the island of Istan. And we watched more of Season Six of RuPaul's Drag Race. This is our fourth time through some of these episodes. I worked on a jigsaw puzzle. We got to bed about 1:45 a.m.
