"Remember me whenever noses start to bleed."

We have sun today. One good day of sunlight before the clouds and rain (and maybe sleet and snow) return. At one point, the NWS was forecasting a high of 57˚F for today, but that's been lowered to 49˚F. Currently, it's only 41˚F, with the windchill at 33˚F. In Birmingham, it's 68˚F, and the forecast high is 78˚F.

Yesterday, I wrote 1,552 words, and I found THE END of "Ballad of a Catamite Revolver." Today I proofread the story, then pull together Sirenia Digest #134, which I hope will go out to subscribers tonight or tomorrow morning.

A very unexpected royalty check from Brazil showed up yesterday and saved our asses. Money from the sky is always a good thing.

I'm pretty sure the fact that you can buy body bags on Amazon is just about as fucked up as anything.

And I have this photograph. I'm no longer much of a fan of Providence, and I've never really cared for the neighborhood where we live. But every now and then it has its moments, even I will admit.
