Howard Hughes and Points West
It really would be a great drag queen name, Points West.
Summer – which was canceled in Rhode Island this year – arrived today. But it'll be leaving again tomorrow, so there's that. Currently, it's 87˚F, but with the heat index it feels like 100˚F (humidity is at 64%). Yesterday, I actually had to get out my space heater and turn it on.
Yesterday, I wrote 1,367 words and finished "Study for The Witch House," the Perrault/Dandridge story. Of course, by way of the Dandridge stories, it could also be said to be a Perrault/Dandridge/Cthulhu Mythos story. Jesus, that's gaudy.
I sent it to Vince Locke, and he'll be doing an illustration, and the story will appear in Sirenia Digest #91.
Not sure what happens next.
My tree is still green. The tree outside my office window, the one we saved from a chainsaw a couple of years back. That's something.
I've Been There, I Know the Way,
Aunt Beast
