Addendum: digest update

Spooky just finished sending out Sirenia Digest #2. And I just wanted to say, again, that I'm really, really, really sorry this one's coming in so late. Thanks for your patience and for waiting. I'm going to do my damnedest to keep that from happening again. Anyway, I do hope you guys enjoy it.

Don't be sorry. With all due respect to "Orpheus at Mount Pangaeum," "Pony" was worth waiting for.

I second this.

I agree wholeheartedly.

I'm very glad you liked it. I'm quite pleased with the piece.

I love the use of mythology in the vignettes so far; not that myth isn't strongly in play in your non-erotic fiction, but it seems particularly heightened here. (On that topic, satyrs are sometimes depicted as half-horse rather than half-goat -- you can see the horsetails on some of the Attic vase paintings -- but they are exclusively male, I'm afraid. So I have no idea about the proper mythological equivalent of the ponygirl.) Even when it's little more than a title and an allusion, the resonances are great.
