Listens: James Taylor, "Fire and Rain"

At least it was sunny today and there's green. But not very warm, 52F, and it's going to be very cold tonight and tomorrow night. We are promised the warm weather will return next week; in the meantime, where the fuck did spring go?

I did manage to write this morning, but I managed less than 900 words. The power blinked, the iMac went down, and I had forgotten to save. I lost about four hundred words I had to try and reconstruct from memory. Nornally, I save obsesssively, unconsciously every two or three minutes, so this just doesn't happen. I have no idea why I had not saved this morning. I just didn't. Oh, and after I got the machine running again, the mouse started acting it. So, utter shit example of a writing day. I have come to the point where I have to admit it's time to retire the iMac I've had since 2012 (which would be easier if I could afford to buy a new one anytime soon).

Here's the catch to writing substantive, political LJ entries: I get hate mail. And I'm really not good with hate mail.

But, still, I can't say I understand the need of Parisians to riot at every opportunity.

Please, have a look at the Dreaming Squid Sundries shop. Thanks.
