"I get email from a raccoon..." (145)

The brutal cold hit us in the predawn hours. When I got up at at 7 a.m., it was 10˚F, with the windchill at -6˚F. Currently, it's 18˚F, with the windchill at -1˚F. This is going to last for days, of course, but at least we have the sun.

And no snow.

I was going to write today, but the weather left me oddly out of sorts. I'm trying to start a new piece for Sirenia Digest 202, "Discord in Anthracite."

I really accomplished close to nothing today.

The afternoon's movie was Anthony and Joe Russo's Avengers: Endgame (2019). From the latest JVP, I read "The postcranial skeleton of the gliding reptile Coelosauravus elivensis Piveteau, 1926 (Diapsida, Weigeltisauridae) from the late Permian of Madagascar."

Please have a look at the Big Cartel shop. Thanks.
