Hot again today. Our high was 94˚F, with a heat index of 98˚F. And the sky was just horrid.
A rough night last night, ill for much of it, and as a result I did not start a story today and I did not go into McWane. I did a little prep on Winifred. But mostly I did nothing.
The afternoon's film was James Cameron's Avatar (2009). In some ways, this film holds up nicely. But it's always gonna suffer from a crappy screenplay, and from the fact that James Cameron seems have decided to direct the human characters very poorly, while directing the Na'vi characters very well.
The news is a goddamn horror show, even more than usual.
