"And it's very far away, but it's growing day by day."
Bright and sunny all day. Our high was 84˚f.
It was a much better day. It was a productive day. I was up at 6 a.m. and, after coffee, wrote 1,364 words on "Living a Boy's Adventure Tale." Then I finished Seifer's biography of Tesla. And I signed and doodled in books we've sold via Big cartel, so Spooky could make a run to the post office.
Later in the afternoon, after giving my brain a rest, I got some good work done on MP1. Still describing the ventral (underside) surface of the frontal.
So, gimme my damn gold star.
Let's see. Anything else? On Twitter and Facebook both I posted, "My dream right now (and I know is not going to happen), someone options one of my novels for film, and the film's a hit, and I make enough money that I can buy a house, pay off some debts, and retire (mostly) from writing and do vertebrate paleo' FULLTIME for what time I have remaining. That would be...sublime. Or, you know, a wealthy benefactor."
It could not get much better than that, kittens.
Oh, and I got a very nice email from Nan Goldin, thanking me for the piece I wrote for her upcoming European exhibition. That was probably the highlight of my day.
Please have a look at the Big Cartel shop. Thank you. And just 15 more days until the wretched 58th birthday, so there's the Amazon wishlist.
And now...I'm gonna rest.
Later Tater Beans,
