Sunny and warmer today. We made it to 66˚F.

At 3:30 p.m. I went to McWane to take some measurements on one of the mosasaurs I'm describing. It is always a comfort, just being back in the lab, and the visit lifted my spirits. What lifted them more was being told that beginning next week I can go back to my normal, pre-COVID-19 hours/days at McWane, after almost two years. Mondays and Tuesdays. I'll be getting to work curating the mosasaur collection, a project I was supposed to have begun in 2020.

And, by the way, when I say curation, I mean curation. Not putting together a playlist or organizing your sock drawer.

The Dancy story is bouncing around in my head, along with stuff for the digest. I was trying to decide between a story about Dancy's childhood and...something really weird. And I think I have decided on the former.

Please have a look at the current eBay auctions, especially the very rare, forever-out-of-print Centipede Press illustrated edition of Houses Under the Sea. Thank you. Money keeps the wheels turning and the cats fed.

I forgot to mention that we have finished our third complete viewing of the entirety of The Big Bang Theory. All twelve seasons, all 279 episodes at least once. That's how I spent my self-isolation vacation.

Later Tater Beans,
