Sunny today, after a rainy night. There was thunder when I went to bed at midnight. Our high today was only 59˚F, and it is currently 55˚F.
This morning, I might finally have gotten back on track. I proofread all three chapters of the novel, all there is of The Night Watchers for now, and it seems to hold together better than I thought. Chapter 3 concerns me the most. I made about two hundred line edits, that I'll actually get to tomorrow.
Spooky made a very excellent chicken stew.
I'm down to 200 mg. of Gabapentin per day. That halfway to 0.
And Austria and Belgium have now joined the Netherlands in disappointing me.
Apparently I needed a big, dumb vampire movie today, because, out of the blue, I chose Guillermo del Toro's Blade II (2002). Worse than I remmeber (I last saw it in 2011). It's proof that even a brilliant director can make a pretty awful movie. I'd like to think del Toro was on autopilot. But seeing baby Norman Reedus was nice, and there are a few fun moments. Just far too few.
If you're not watching Yellowjackets, you need to remedy that. And I'm enjoying the new Dexter.
