Heavy rain this morning. Last night, a tornado did a lot of damage in Tupelo. Early in the afternoon, another tornado buzzed Emory University and our old neighborhood in Atlanta. Currently, it's overcast and 79˚F, with a heat index of 81˚F. The high was 84˚F, with the heat index at 90˚F.

Only one of Spooky's whatsits hasn't sold. So, if you want one...

This morning, I wrote 1,026 words and finished "The Man Who Loved What Was." The rain kept me from working on Winifred, as I could open the window to run the exhaust fans.

I emailed my agent about artwork for the audiobook for The Ammonite Violin & Others, because forams and ammonites are not the same thing.

This afternoon's comfort movie was Christopher Nolan's superb Inception (2010), which I feel like I'm watching at least once a month these days.

Last night, we caught the finale of Season 13 of RuPaul's Drag Race and then watched the first several episodes of Season Four of Young Sheldon.
