"It wasn't a lie, it was ineptitude with insufficient cover."

A very fine day today. The weather was a little cool, only about 61˚F, but the sun was fine. Last night, though, there was torrential rain, and today all the creeks were swollen.

And a good work day, too. I only managed about ~700 new words of prose on The Tindalos Asset, but so much of what I had to do today was more like moving furniture around than writing. Putting things that had been written previously into new positions. It went well. I have about 17,690 words on the novella, of a projected 25k-30k word count.

And Bill Schafer sent me a link to an artist's portfolio, and I need to look at that with an eye to my next (TBA) Subterranean Press collection.

Spooky had to go to the Petco on 280, which is almost all the way south to the intersection with 119. So, I went with her, and on the way back we stopped at the botanical gardens and walked for a while. I think we're going back tomorrow.

There was Chinese takeout for dinner.

Please have a look at the current eBay auctions. Thank you.
