"....of fear and self-doubt."

Rain, rain, rain, rain. Another day of rain, and then we should see the sun again. It's been raining since sometime on the 19th. Currently, it's 58˚F.

I did 576 words today on The Tindalos Asset, which, at least, is better than nothing.

Last night, we saw Julius Avery's Overlord (2018), which really was a lot of fun. A great, joyous, gory, fun comic book (pre-code) of a horror/war movie, and I fully recommend it. I watched it because Mike Mignola said it was good, and I'm glad that I listened.

I have this quote that Ramsey Campbell gave Tachyon for The Very Best of Caitlín R. Kiernan. It pleases me, so I'm going to post it here:

“Caitlín Kiernan is one of the true visionaries and finest stylists in our field, and very possibly the most lyrical. Her tales enrich the imagination, and represent the literature of the dark at its most gorgeous and disturbing. This book is a treasure house of wonders and terrors, and an essential purchase for anyone who cares about the great tradition of weird fiction.”

Please have a look at the current eBay auctions. Thanks.

Succinct and true, Ramsey Campbell's review should be stamped on every book you have published.

Ramsey Campbell's quote is wow. "Great tradition of weird fiction."

Rain and more rain outside Huntsville. This morning the Bradford pears trees and red buds are in bloom, as is the ornamental cherry tree down the street from us. Rain and storms again today, gray and overcast, and the white of the Bradford pears shines in the dim light. Hoping to see sun tomorrow, or even a day w.out rain if sun is behind clouds.
