Overcast here and 65˚F.

Yesterday was all packing, and now my office is essentially finished. Today, I need to try and start writing something for Sirenia Digest 149. I had planned to use the second half of ""The Eldritch Alphabētos" for that issue, but now I think I'm going to hold off on that until after the move, probably for 150 in July.

Last night, after more spaghetti, we watched the new episode of Archer and then reruns of Drag Race, because there wasn't a new episode this week. Oh, and the Deadliest Catch special that Mythbusters did way back in Season 12, because we hadn't seen it.

Today is the 20th anniversary of the "street date" (official release date) of Silk. I never imagined the book would still be in print two decades later.

Thanks to everyone who has told me they still read the blog. I honestly didn't think there were so many of you left.

I will be reading your journal until you put up the chairs, turn off the lights and lock the place up. I'll have to get over my own anxiety and comment more.

And I love the Lydia photo. Cat-help during moving is adorable and occasionally frustrating. :)

I am no longer even on this platform and I still check in. It is not just the excellent pictures of Lydia.

I read your blog every day. Here in Germany it‘s mostly early evening, when you publish and reading your entries is the first thing after work for me. I love it and hope you stay with it.

If you took up typing out the phonebook letter for letter I'd likely read it. I'm a bit on the irrational side with how I love some authors.

Solo was awesome. Definitely in my top two SW films. Thanks for writing about having seen it.

The Eldritch Alphabetos is a real treat. Goes well with my copy of Houses Under the Sea. Thank you. Your move to Alabama might allow me to make it to future readings and/or signings.

Apropos Silk: I‘m rereading Silk now. I started reading Murder of Angels - the last of your Novels I haven‘t read yet - and it occured to me, that it might be a good idea to reread Silk before. Silk was not the first of your novels i read, but the one, that hooked me. I am relieved, that even after the Red Tree and The Drowning Girl the magic of Silk works for me. I guess i will be unable to withstand the forthcoming Centepede-Edition.

Love the Kate Bush picture. Hounds of Love was fine but The Dreaming was where she got me.
