Overcast again today, and at the moment it's only 47˚F. But the sun came out yesterday afternoon, and that helped a little.
Yesterday was spent getting Sirenia Digest 147 together, and it went out to subscribers in the afternoon. Today, I have email, and I need to begin proofreading The Dinosaur Tourist. Also, Spooky's has to give me a haircut.
Tomorrow evening, at 7 p.m., I'll be at the Savoy Bookshop in Westerly, Rhode Island. This is my next to last appearance in New England for – well, it will be a long time, I imagine. I'll be reading from Black Helicopters.
I got the news this morning that Jada's mother died last night, and Jada and I spoke very briefly.
Last night, I read "Un nuevo ejemplar de mosasaurio halisaurino del Cretácico Superior (Maastrichtiense) de la cuenca de Khouribga (Marruecos)" – with the help of an online translator, because by two years of high school Spanish wore out decades ago.
