Yesterday, I read and proofed and edited "Virginia Story." The title stuck. I couldn't really find anything wrong with it, and I couldn't find one better. Today, I'll get Sirenia Digest No. 146 out to subscribers. I'm fairly sure "Virginia Story" is one of the best things I've written in a while, certainly since last summer.
For St. Patrick's Day dinner, I made a big pot of cabbage and onions, flavored with garlic and cloves and black pepper and salt. Spooky boiled potatoes, and there was soda bread, and we had thinly sliced corned beef, since my teeth are no longer up to brisket.
