Lydia has black beans.

Overcast and cold, but I think we're going to miss most or all of the expected snow. So, at least there's that. Currently, it's 37˚F, with the windchill at 30˚F.

Yesterday, I found the very beginning of a story, which I'm currently calling "Pennsylvania Story," but hopefully something better in the way of a title will present itself. I also started setting up a ResearchGate account yesterday. The future means running our words together. Why? Just because, I suppose.

Last night, we watched Joe Wright's amazing Darkest Hour. For me, it's an instant favorite, and I count it as one of the most visually stunning films I have ever seen. It's a perfect companion piece to Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk (probably my favorite film of 2017).
