"And I feel like everything I saw Is being swept away."

Outside it sort of sunny and 58˚F. There's a nor'easter on the way, and by tomorrow it's going to be scary out there.

Yesterday was mostly a day of fruitless dithering. And still recovering from the long drive back to Providence. But I did manage to finish Lonesome Dove, and it has been added to the list of my favorite novels. A fine and brilliant book, and I don't know how I managed not to cry through the last two hundred or so pages, pretty much from Deets fateful encounter with the Indians onward. I think I'm going to read Last Picture Show (1966) next, then Horseman, Pass By (1961).

If I can make it through StokerCon, March will be spent getting something written for Sirenia Digest No. 166, trying to make real progress on The Tindalos Asset, beginning work on a paper describing an important mosasaur (possibly Ectenosaurus) from Alabama, and preparing for the move later this spring. I don't know when I'm even going to find time to...well, do much of anything but work. I'll do the paleo' work at night, the writing during the day, and we'll see how it goes.

We need to be getting ready to head down to the Biltmore for StokerCon, so I'll wrap this up.

TTFN,
Aunt Beast
