Just a few images that have piled up over the last couple of days, some of which wound up on Twitter (shudder) and Facebook, but this is a more permanent sort of place to save them.

And from me and Kathryn to all of my readers everywhere, all the world round, we wish you a Merry Christmas, and may the New Year somehow hold hope that the days ahead will be less dark and that there will be at least some measure of joy and peace in your lives.

Happy Holidays,
Aunt Beast

Merry Christmas to you too. That picture of Lydia is going to kill me.

Merry Christmas to you and your family, too! Both two-legged and four-legged!

I have an old Olympia typewriter with a yellow body and a brown keys. My dad had an old Royal. I love the picture of yours - the postcard from the vet, and the lights strung 'round the typewriter.

And those cats are just too cute!

Let's all hope that 2018 is better than 2017 or 2016.

Here's hoping 2018 is much brighter than 2018--I think 2017 has been pretty bleak...
