Overcast at the moment. 58˚F. Humidity is 100%.

Yesterday gets an L on the calendar. Nothing much was accomplished. It was supposed to be a day off, but I couldn't find the nerve to leave the House. We'd planned to go to Beavertail, down on Conanicut Island. But the sky was too much for me.

I didn't work.

Late last night – well, early this morning – I sat down and glanced over the color page proofs for Houses Under the Sea: Mythos Tales. That was the nearest I came to work.

I didn't leave the House. Spooky went out, and she brought a photo back to me.

That figurine's expression comes close to matching my mood. I'm glad Kathryn took that shot.

Take care.

Great photo, nice capture.

Been thinking on this to share before in case it might help and please take it as my good intention and not just unsolicited advice. My daughter is on the autism spectrum as is one of my friends and both of them wear a ball cap or some other hat w. a bill to shade their eyes from the top. As my daughter explains it, it helps her with too much light and works better than sunglasses which I always wear. Well, she can explain it better than I but when we're out she copes better and is not overstimulated and anxious. She was wearing a cap in the house today bc she was working on her electronic art tablet and the light from the top of the screen was bothering her and interrupting her flow. Y'all take care.
