We were suppose to have sun again today, but nothing so far excepting overcast. It rained all night, it seemed. We last saw the sun briefly, on the morning of the 26th. Currently, it's 43˚F, with the windchill at 35˚F. In Birmingham, it's currently 71˚F, and the predicted high is 84˚F. We'll be lucky to see 49˚F. Here, there's talk of a "wintry mix" on Friday and Friday night.

Yesterday, I wrote 1,509 words on the story that is now titled "Ballad of a Catamite Revolver." I'll finish it today, for Sirenia Digest #134, the March issue.

Last night, we saw David Yates and J.K. Rowling's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016), and I truly adored it. As I told Spooky, it's my second favorite Harry Potter film, after the first, even if it isn't actually a Harry Potter film.

Yesterday, Spooky went back down to her parents place in South County. She saw a few stingy signs of spring and brought evidence back to me, knowing I'd not have believed her, otherwise:

Purple Deadnettle (Lamium purpureum), 12:52 p.m.

Resistance, Peace, and Compassion,
