I am very much not awake this morning.

Currently, it's overcast and 42˚F in Providence. We're having a little January heatwave. I think it's supposed to reach 57˚F tomorrow, with wind and rain, of course.

I spent all of yesterday – well, I can't actually tell you about that until tomorrow, really. But I spent two and a half hours proofreading. It was tedious, as proofreading is, without fail. I got nothing new written on "Eurydice Eduction." And here we are nine days into January.

Please have a look at the current eBay auctions.

Last night we watched an interesting little horror film, Miguel Ángel Vivas' Extinction (2015). It seems to be a profoundly disliked film, but Kathryn and I enjoyed it. Extinction has a striking look. It's not an action film, and it's not a feast for gore hounds. It's a claustrophobic, melancholy study of two men and one child at the end of the world. Not with a bang, but a whimper.

That sounds really interesting to me, actually.
