"Ain't it funny how the night moves?"

It's cloudy, and I didn't sleep enough. I went to bed plenty fucking early, but then woke, inexplicably, at 9 a.m.

Yesterday brought me a mere four pages from the end of Part 3 of Alabaster: The Good, the Bad, and the Bird, which is to say, yesterday I wrote pages 16, 17, and 18. Today, I'll finish. And on Friday, we leave for two weeks in the Catskills, where I will continue to write. I love finding myself struggling to finish something before Xmas that I'd meant to have finished before the summer.

I've seen Greg's first two covers, and they are splendid (of course).

I think the next Sirenia Digest story will be entitled "Lasterday." I'll write it at Neil's, I hope.

I did take a shower yesterday. That was pretty exciting.

TTFN,
Aunt Beast

I hope it is a very good trip and gives you the right kind of trees and geology.
