Didn't sleep much last night, which didn't stop the dreams.
Day before yesterday I finally fucking finished "The Green Abyss," and then yesterday I went over it with a fine-toothed comb. A lot of fuss over a small tale. Today, I get the 106 together and also write a piece that I owe to Thom Carnell for the Carpe Noctem 20th anniversary project. That's my day ahead.
I've been back from Arlington, Va. almost two weeks, and I've only left the house twice. November is almost over, and I haven't even cracked the cover of House of Leaves. I've read that book every November since 2003, when I first read it.
This morning, I saw the cover concept for Greg Ruth's cover for Part 2 of The Good, the Bad, and the Bird. Delightful. I wish I could show them to you.
Yesterday, I read "The Early Triassic eosauropterygian Majiashanosaurus discocoracoidis, gen. et sp. nov. (Reptilia, Sauropterygia), from Chaohu, Anhui Province, People’s Republic of China" and "Huaridelphis raimondii, a new early Miocene Squalodelphinidae (Cetacea, Odontoceti) from the Chilcatay Formation, Peru."
I have to get out of this house...
Inside,
