Wolves

As many reading this will already have heard, Alabaster: Wolves has won the Bram Stoker Award for Best Graphic Novel. I got the news from Portland late last night, and I was very, very surprised. I should thank Ellen Datlow who accepted the award of my behalf. And most especially I should thank Steve Lieber (artist), Rachelle Rosenberg (colorist), Greg Ruth (covers), Rachel Edidin (editor), and Jemiah Jefferson (editorial assistant), because this is their award, too.

Here in Providence, it's finally getting warm. Yesterday we broke 70˚F. The tree outside my window is finally getting leaves.

On a Day in May,
Aunt Beast
