Were I to do this, it would begin with Chapter One in #87, and there would be one chapter a month. But I wanted to see how people feel. I understand that just because I'm not happy with the end result doesn't mean that others wouldn't like to read it. And there will almost certainly never be a hard copy, print version of the novel.

Not a current subscriber, but I would sign up for this. I'm really enjoying Blood Oranges, and I'd love to be able to see how Fay Grimmer is different from its replacement. (I didn't vote in the poll, just to be clear.)

Yes. It would seem a shame to allow the pain that went into it to be entirely for nought....and give you some room to work on Red Delicious and other future works.

I'm also not a current subscriber (for budgetary reasons), but I keep playing the "maybe next month..." game, and the start of a serialized goodie may be the extra motivation I need.

Exactly what brienze and ravenwings_7 wrote... I keep playing the "maybe next month" game as well. A serialized novel would be a very enticing opportunity.
