Howard Hughes and the Forever March

There really is no explaining how vile this sorry excuse for a June day is, I don't think, unless you've suffered New England's more sour moods. Pissing rain, falling sideways like tiny ice needles. Currently, it's 49˚F, with the windchill at 43˚F. We were out running errands, and we saw a girl in a heavy down jacket. In June. We are promised that tomorrow will be much better.

God, I hope so. I like winter, but not now.

Thanks for the photo, which looks like a mall; one of the only things that could be imaginably worse than tourist-traps.

It is, in fact, Providence Place Mall.

It's 56* in NYC, and we have the heat on. I'm regretting putting my down comforter in storage. Still, not as bad as RI. Horizontal freezing rain is the pits.
